CityFleet predicts an even greater focus on technology and Duty of Care at The Business Travel Show 2017

CityFleet Business has announced it will be returning to The Business Travel Show in 2017, a year after successfully re-launching its corporate ground transport proposition at the event.

CityFleet Business is predicting further advancements in technology within the industry at the 2017 show that helps blur the lines between business and leisure travel, plus drive an increased focus on employee Duty of Care.

“The growing number of Apps has transformed the experience of booking ground transport, hotels and flights for the business travel user,” explained Sean McDonagh, Group Director of Sales, City Fleet Networks.

“Apps have been carried over from the consumer sector and users are very familiar with them and come to expect the same level of technology to enhance the business travel booking experience,” he added.
CityFleet Business boasts both a web booking and mobile App to allow users to manage their bookings at the same time as using tracking technology to help companies increase their focus on employees’ Duty of Care. The company has seen a 300% increase in frictionless bookings following the introduction of its new mobile app and online booking system in March 2016.
“Large companies are now incorporating taxi and chauffeur drive travel into Duty of Care to provide increased peace of mind when their colleagues are travelling in the UK or abroad. We can offer companies the ability to track their staff in vehicles across multi fleets to help address this issue,” commented Mr McDonagh.

The Business Travel Show in 2016 enabled CityFleet Business to raise brand awareness, promote new technology and meet potential customers and partners in the UK and worldwide.
